Can a blind rivet be more than just a simple fastening system?
This is the question we were asked by a well-known brand of washing machines, looking for something to fix the components of their products and at the same time an electrical connector.
Why not put both things together in one single product?
Mass blind rivet is the answer: this is a special rivet composed of a copper body, a copper-plated mandrel and a brass faston.
Thanks to its features, it is a valid current conductor, and therefore it is used in the assembly of household appliances and electrical panels, as it’s ideal for earthing.
In this way, we have allowed our Customer to use only one tool that at the same time satisfies two solutions.
It can be available in many different versions, depending on the number of cables to be connected and the type of materials to be fastened.
