The thoughest challenge for a manufacturer of fastening systems is Automotive Industry. Not only is it extremely selective for obvious reasons of safety, but it also requires to find complicated technical solutions.
For instance, a well-know vehicle manufacturer commissioned us a blind rivet for the steering column of one of their cars: what they needed was a blind rivet with high shear and tensile resistance in order not to break in case of accidents, but it also must have a low clamping force to allow the rotation of the spin and so the possibility to move the wheel closer to or further away from the driver.
Designing and producing internally our blind rivets allowed our technical team to find the solution in a special Saribulb structural blind rivet, with specific technical feautes developped ad hoc.
