Blind rivets are fastening systems used in the production of various types of containers, especially in bins for separate collection, for medical waste, for recycling points, or in tipping containers.
Usually, these containers are made of plastic materials, which are more fragile when the force necessary for the application of the rivet is exerted. Furthermore, being installed mostly outdoors, they are exposed to atmospheric events.
These are the fastening solutions we suggest:
- Extra large head rivets: the extra large head provides a wider bearing surface, which is ideal for fixing “fragile” materials as it avoids the creation of cracks
- Stainless steel rivets: A2 or A4 stainless steel guarantees the rivet higher resistance to corrosion due to atmospheric events. This type of solution is also available with an extra large head
- RAL rivets: the rivet can be colored in the same RAL as the container. In our catalog we have three standard RALs (9010, 9005 and 8017), but on request we can supply blind rivets of any color, even by sample
