Blind rivet nuts
Blind rivet nuts are mechanical fastening systems that guarantee a fast, simple and permanent locking between two materials, as they create threads in the sheets. They are ideal in case of blind-sided assembly. Their application requires a tool that applies a force to the insert thread so as to deform the body, in order to fix two or more sheets.
Threaded inserts can be made of aluminum, galvanized steel or stainless steel. The body can be hexagonal, semi-hexagonal or cylindrical, as well as smooth or knurled.
Available heads are cylindrical, countersunk (which require a countersink before the application), and small size, allowing to get the head flush with the sheet after the application.
Blind rivet nuts have multiple fields of applications, such as automotive, heavy carpentry and construction industry.
